Chocolate Tour
The chocolate tour will address the process of production of organic cacao from cacao tree to the final product of 100% pure organic cacao paste, which forms the basis for industrially processed commercial chocolate.
The tour will start with a short canoe trip in traditional canoe of about 15 minutes up the Telire River where we will disembark and make a short 5 minute hike up a slight incline to we are developing an organic farm.
Upon arrival at the rustic, traditionally built two-story farmhouse of authentic indigenous design overlooking the Telire River, we will be met by the Bribri couple who maintain and are further developing the property.
Here is where your introduction to Cacao, the most sacred plant for the Bribri, will begin. From cacao plant, to pod, to seed, we will guide you through up to the final product of raw 100% organic cacao paste.
Prices
